About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our high-profile contract in Camden. This is a Monday-Friday position working 08:00-17:00.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver PPM, reactive, and breakdown works on all site electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Manage engineering assets to ensure no unplanned disruptions and support cost-effective operations.
  • Oversee reactive works to ensure timely response and closure.
  • Develop tools to report on asset and building performance and recommend improvements.
  • Carry out routine PPM on all electrical and mechanical plant in line with site task schedules and asset lists.
  • Address plant faults and defects to maintain equipment in serviceable order.
  • Complete reactive tasks across the building, including concessionary stores and fabric-related items.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain suitable spares for maintenance and reactive works.
  • Provide parts inventory and estimated timescales for remedial tasks.
  • Keep the Computer-Based Maintenance System up to date with accurate closure of PPM and reactive tickets.
  • Complete and submit all paperwork for reactive and breakdown works.
  • Prepare and follow Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks to maintain safe working practices.
  • Keep all plant rooms under Smart’s responsibility locked, clean, and tidy at all times.

  • Knowledge of air conditioning, UPS, generators, and LV systems.
  • Ability to fault-find using graphical information and alarm data.
