About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our high-profile contract in Camden. This is a Monday-Friday position working 08:00-17:00.
Responsibilities
- Deliver PPM, reactive, and breakdown works on all site electrical and mechanical systems.
- Manage engineering assets to ensure no unplanned disruptions and support cost-effective operations.
- Oversee reactive works to ensure timely response and closure.
- Develop tools to report on asset and building performance and recommend improvements.
- Carry out routine PPM on all electrical and mechanical plant in line with site task schedules and asset lists.
- Address plant faults and defects to maintain equipment in serviceable order.
- Complete reactive tasks across the building, including concessionary stores and fabric-related items.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain suitable spares for maintenance and reactive works.
- Provide parts inventory and estimated timescales for remedial tasks.
- Keep the Computer-Based Maintenance System up to date with accurate closure of PPM and reactive tickets.
- Complete and submit all paperwork for reactive and breakdown works.
- Prepare and follow Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks to maintain safe working practices.
- Keep all plant rooms under Smart’s responsibility locked, clean, and tidy at all times.
Requirements
- Knowledge of air conditioning, UPS, generators, and LV systems.
- Ability to fault-find using graphical information and alarm data.
