About the Role
Manage the historic building complex of the former Tempelhof Airport, supporting building management operations and serving as the primary point of contact for building-related inquiries from users and external companies. Ensure the operational readiness of assets and the building, considering operator responsibility and economic factors, while coordinating all involved parties.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main contact for existing tenants regarding technical and structural issues.
- Conduct regular property inspections with service providers.
- Oversee maintenance and inspections in coordination with facility management.
- Issue repair orders to facility management or construction management for renovation projects.
- Manage and monitor property, space, energy, and interface management.
- Analyze and optimize assigned building sections, including potential interim uses and damage prevention.
- Conduct and support public procurement processes with the procurement department.
- Prepare regular reports and analyses.
- Manage budget planning and cost control for technical measures.
Requirements
- Completed technical or commercial degree, or a comparable qualification.
- Proficiency in cross-functional coordination and understanding of all process participants.
- Several years of professional experience in comprehensive building management.
- Solid knowledge of property management.
- Cost awareness and economic thinking.
- Independent and structured work style.
- Reliable demeanor and skill in dealing with service providers and partners.
- Proficient IT skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office programs, especially MS Excel.
- Good understanding and handling of a CAFM system.
