About the Role

As an ASB Officer, you will manage high-risk and complex anti-social behaviour (ASB) and hate incident cases involving council tenants and impacting local communities. You will manage your own caseload from referral to resolution, provide advice to colleagues and residents, and work in partnership with other agencies using available tools and powers to address ASB and reduce harm.

Responsibilities

  • Manage high risk and complex ASB and hate incident cases.
  • Manage own caseload from referral through to successful resolution.
  • Provide advice and guidance to colleagues, residents, and partner agencies.
  • Work in partnership with other agencies using the full range of tools and powers to address ASB.
  • Take a victim-led approach.
  • Attend meetings outside of normal working hours as required.

Requirements

  • Experience of working in partnership to address ASB.
  • Experience managing cases from initial reports through to successful case resolution, including making applications to court.
  • Flexibility and innovation with the ability to offer and embrace new approaches to problem-solving.
  • Good understanding of the issues and challenges facing a social housing provider regarding ASB.
  • Resilience under pressure and ability to respond effectively when faced with conflicting demands.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Desire to keep diverse communities safe from harm.
  • Must be able to complete the application fully and ensure the supporting statement covers how each person specification criterion is met.
  • Subject to a basic DBS check.
