About the Role
We are seeking an Insurance Clerk specializing in claims management for our insurance department, focusing on the real estate portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Independent processing and settlement of insurance claims in the real estate sector (property and liability)
- Formal and substantive review of damage reports
- Correspondence with insurers, property management companies, service providers, and internal departments
- Advising and supporting internal teams on insurance law issues
- Maintenance and evaluation of claims statistics and documentation in internal systems
- Active participation in process optimization, digitalization, and archiving
- Record keeping
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in the insurance industry or a comparable commercial qualification; alternatively, relevant professional experience in claims processing or the insurance industry
- Alternatively, commercial training with experience in the insurance sector
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Strong communication skills, reliability, and professional demeanor
- Structured, independent work style with a high degree of quality awareness
- Driver's license Class B
- Very good German language skills
