About the Role
You will act as a link between users, clients, project management, and development, guiding the user-centered requirements and design process throughout the project lifecycle in an agile environment. You will collect, analyze, structure, and document functional requirements and business processes methodically. You will translate functional requirements and user needs into understandable, user-centered solution concepts and validate them early through wireframes, mockups, and rapid prototyping. You will develop intuitive and attractive user interfaces, support the creation of style guides and design systems, and ensure a consistent user experience across different applications and usage scenarios. You will ensure the quality of results throughout the project and contribute your own ideas for process and solution optimization.
Responsibilities
- Act as a link between users, clients, project management, and development, guiding the user-centered requirements and design process throughout the project lifecycle in an agile environment.
- Collect, analyze, structure, and document functional requirements and business processes methodically, e.g., in the form of user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, and process models according to BPMN.
- Translate functional requirements and user needs into understandable, user-centered solution concepts and validate them early through wireframes, mockups, and rapid prototyping.
- Develop intuitive and attractive user interfaces, support the creation of style guides and design systems, and ensure a consistent user experience across different applications and usage scenarios.
- Ensure the quality of results throughout the project and contribute your own ideas for process and solution optimization.
Requirements
- Successfully completed studies in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Media Informatics, Engineering, Human Computer Interaction, Psychology, or similar.
- At least 1 year of experience in Requirements Engineering and/or UX/UI Design, with experience in consulting or client projects.
- Familiarity with methods of requirements analysis and process documentation (e.g., User Stories, Use Cases, Acceptance Criteria, BPMN, Process Workshops).
- Ability to clearly structure complex issues and present them understandably.
- Experience with user-centered methods such as user interviews, personas, customer journeys, wireframes, prototyping, or usability tests.
- Ability to derive concrete requirements and solution proposals using common tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally to advise clients on-site.
- Very good German and English language skills.
