About the Role
Tyro is investing in the future of customer engagement, creating smarter, more personalised experiences at scale. As our Marketing Automation Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping and delivering lifecycle marketing programs that drive engagement, retention, and growth. Working across Marketing, Product, Data, and Customer teams, you'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution to elevate Tyro's marketing automation capability and customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimise customer journeys across acquisition, onboarding, growth, retention, and reactivation.
- Deliver and build new automated program capabilities across email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app communications.
- Create targeted and relevant customer experiences through effective segmentation and audience strategies.
- Help scale Tyro's lifecycle marketing maturity by introducing best practices and new ways of working.
- Partner closely with Product, Data, Customer Marketing, Compliance, and external partners to deliver impactful campaigns.
- Use data, testing, and customer insights to continuously improve engagement, conversion, and commercial outcomes.
- Act as a marketing automation SME, mentoring and training up team members and sharing knowledge across the business.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience leveraging SFMC to deliver personalised, data-driven customer journeys and campaigns.
- Strong experience building and optimising customer journeys, nurture programs, and personalised communications.
- Capable in working in project teams to stand up new martech platforms and build out new processes & workflows.
- Confidence working with complex customer data, audience segmentation, and customer data platforms.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience delivering campaigns across email, SMS, push notifications, and other digital channels.
