About the Role
HammondCare seeks an experienced Relief Residential Manager to provide temporary leadership and support to residential care management across Hammondville, NSW, and Southern NSW. This role involves ensuring high-quality, individualized care delivery aligned with HammondCare's philosophy, initially through a 2-4 week training period alongside other managers, followed by backfilling for managerial leave and absences.
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and empower staff to deliver high-quality, individualized care in calm, supportive, and safe environments.
- Oversee all aspects of clinical care provision, direction, and performance of the home.
- Ensure the efficient operational and financial management of the Residential Care home.
- Provide temporary relief to Residential Care Management.
- Support the work of Residential Care.
- Deliver care by describing, interpreting, and modeling the fundamental principles of the philosophy of care.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
- Significant practical experience in a management role in aged care.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, motivate, and develop a team and effectively work with other staff.
- Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare’s Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong initiative, analytical skills, and problem-solving skills.
- A willingness to travel across multiple sites.
- Consent to a criminal record check.
- Complete a NDIS Workers Screening Check.
