About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and passionate Site Reliability Engineer to bring our clients' visions to life and drive digitalization in Germany. We leverage our enthusiasm for software engineering, open source, and an agile mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage the development and infrastructure platform based on Kubernetes, Pulumi / Terraform, and cloud-native technologies with a focus on stability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate at the intersection of software development and infrastructure, applying a solid understanding of software architecture and development to platform work.
• Automate infrastructure processes to reduce manual effort and ensure long-term platform maintainability.
• Implement robust monitoring and alerting to enable early detection of issues.
• Actively participate in incident management, analyze incidents, resolve root causes, and ensure learnings are incorporated into platform development.
• Be available as a point of contact during regular working hours to ensure critical incidents are addressed promptly and reliably.

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in developing and operating cloud-native platforms and infrastructures.
• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes, from conception and setup to the productive operation of complex cluster environments.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools, specifically Pulumi and/or Terraform.
• Understanding of modern software development principles, ideally with knowledge of Python.
• Sound judgment and a pragmatic approach to complex technical challenges, even in time-critical situations.
• Openness to on-call duty within regular working hours.
• Very good German language skills (min. C1).
