About the Role

The Producer, Contemporary Performance is responsible for the effective management and presentation of projects within the Contemporary Performance Program. This role involves managing projects from inception to completion, including developing business cases, budgets, revenue models, and negotiating contracts, in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects within the Contemporary Performance Program through to successful completion.
• Generate business cases for projects.
• Develop project budgets and model revenue options.
• Negotiate financial arrangements and contracts.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in delivering or collaborating on high-level arts projects.
• Sound knowledge of the contemporary performance and broader arts programming space, including artists, companies, genres, trends, festivals, venues, and arts centres, nationally and internationally.
• Proven ability to successfully lead multi-layered projects in a complex stakeholder environment.
• Proven ability and experience in developing and implementing project business cases and budgets, including modelling and optimising revenue.
• Experience working collaboratively with marketing and publicity staff to achieve artistic and commercial outcomes.
• Existing Australian work rights.
• Satisfactory National Police Check.
• Satisfactory Pre-Employment Health Assessment.
