About the Role
The Group Fitness Instructor Trainee will learn to provide high-quality, engaging, and motivating experiences through safe, inclusive, and enjoyable instruction and leadership in Group Experience classes. The role involves a training process with the goal of attaining program certification and becoming a Group Fitness Instructor.
Responsibilities
- Complete and return Instructor Agreement, if applicable.
- Complete specified tasks within deadlines to prepare for training and certification.
- Complete and submit required videos for assessment and apply feedback.
- Complete Trainer-led or self-directed learning topics and tasks.
- Refine skills related to GoodLife/s/Les Mills Canada’s 5 Key Elements (choreography, technique, coaching, connection and performance).
- Attend the training session in its entirety.
- Complete specified tasks within deadlines to reinforce learning from the training session.
- Coordinate team teaching, including practice and delivery of class.
- Complete final assessment video.
Requirements
- Previous teaching or coaching experience.
- Current CPR-A and AED will be required before teaching your first class as a Group Fitness Instructor.
- Responds and relates well to Leaders.
- Puts a lot of effort into their activities.
- Personally committed to, and actively working towards, continually improving themselves.
- Pursue everything with energy, focus and a need to finish.

- $1,300 expected annual total compensation
