About the Role
Eurest is revolutionizing workplace catering by using the power of food to help workers across Australia live healthier, happier, and more productive lives. This role is crucial in delivering exceptional food standards and promoting healthy eating.
Responsibilities
- Assist and oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food to exceptional standards across menus and daily specials.
- Actively maintain awareness and desire for nutrition and healthy eating.
- Champion allergy awareness and ensure controls are adhered to.
- Influence food costs through portion control, waste minimization, and stock control.
- Ensure the safe production of high-quality products in compliance with food safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Minimum Cert. III Commercial Cookery or 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
- Ability to work within budgets.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate with junior and senior staff members.
- A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
- Solid understanding of allergen management, food safety, and infection control.
