About the Role

As a Senior Manager in the CFO Advisory practice, you will deliver high-quality advisory engagements, contribute to practice growth, and work with clients and senior stakeholders. You will lead engagement teams, mentor junior members, and identify new business opportunities within a dynamic team specializing in complex accounting and reporting issues.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex accounting advisory engagements from planning through to delivery.
  • Analyze technical accounting issues and develop practical solutions.
  • Review and interpret accounting standards, contracts, financial information, and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare and review client reports, technical papers, and presentations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with CFOs, finance leaders, and key stakeholders.
  • Lead engagement teams, providing coaching, mentoring, and development support.
  • Manage engagement budgets, work-in-progress, and commercial outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to grow client relationships and contribute to business development.
  • Support proposal development and strategic growth opportunities.
  • Contribute to thought leadership, market initiatives, and team development.

Requirements

  • CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Approximately 8-10 years' relevant experience in accounting advisory, audit, or a related professional services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, AASB and financial reporting requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex client engagements.
  • Excellent report writing, analytical and communication skills.
  • Experience leading and developing teams in a professional services environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • An interest in business development and growing client relationships.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
