About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our 19-year-old female client with her daily activities, promoting independence, and enhancing her quality of life. You will work closely with the client, her families, and other professionals to deliver person-centred care and support, including personal care, medication administration, and working with clinical interventions.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical and emotional support to service users.
• Administer medications, and complete manual handling.
• Working with clinical interventions.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care where required.
• Promote independence, dignity, choice, and inclusion.
• Build positive and professional relationships with service users, families, and colleagues.

Requirements

• Caring, empathetic, and patient nature.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required.
• Right to work in the UK.
• 6 months care experience within the last 2 years (UK based experience).
• Experience supporting individuals with complex care needs including brain injuries, spinal injuries, physical disabilities, genetic and neurological conditions.

• £14.86 - £17.10 per hour (including holiday pay)
