About the Role

We are seeking motivated and skilled Civil Litigation Defense Attorneys to join our client's growing team. This is an exceptional opportunity for California and Nevada licensed attorneys with a passion for defense work to handle a diverse and engaging caseload. You will be a key contributor from day one, managing cases through all phases of litigation and working directly with experienced partners who are invested in your success.

Responsibilities

Represent clients in all court appearances, including hearings and motion practice.
Draft a wide range of legal pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
Manage all aspects of written discovery, including propounding and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and subpoenas.
Take and defend depositions of parties and witnesses.
Actively participate in mediations and settlement negotiations to achieve favorable client outcomes.
Provide critical support during pre-trial preparation and assist in all phases of trial proceedings.
Serve as a key point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong professional relationships.

Requirements

Active member in good standing of the California State Bar. (Nevada license is a plus for candidates interested in those opportunities).
2+ years of dedicated civil litigation experience, with a focus on defense work.
Juris Doctor Degree required
Exceptional legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
Proven ability to manage a caseload independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong academic credentials and a commitment to the highest ethical standards.
