Responsibilities
- Provide professional salon services, including haircuts, color, highlights, and waxing.
- Perform administrative tasks such as completing transactions on the computerized register.
- Conduct close-out procedures and perform light housekeeping duties.
- Maintain a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for stylists and guests.
- Deliver the highest quality standards in all services.
Requirements
- Current cosmetology or barber license as required by state/provincial regulations.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to provide exceptional guest service, including consultations and efficient service delivery.
- Ability to perform administrative tasks.
- Ability to stand for sustained periods.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting up to 10 pounds, occasionally up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to perform continuous repetitive movements with fingers, hands, wrists, and arms.
- Ability to perform continuous grasping and reaching, often above shoulder level.
- Ability to be exposed to various chemicals and fragrances.
- Ability to observe guest's hair, including close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests regarding services and needs.
