Responsibilities
- Provide professional salon services including haircuts, color, highlights, and waxing.
- Perform administrative tasks such as operating a computerized register and closing procedures.
- Maintain light housekeeping duties within the salon.
- Communicate effectively with guests to understand their needs and offer services.
- Conduct quality consultations to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Perform services efficiently and professionally.
Requirements
- Must possess a current cosmetology or barber license as required by state/provincial regulations.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to provide exceptional guest service.
- Ability to stand for sustained periods.
- Ability to frequently lift up to 10 pounds, occasionally up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to perform continuous repetitive movements with fingers, hands, wrists, and arms.
- Ability to perform continuous grasping and reaching, often above shoulder level.
- Ability to be exposed to various chemicals and fragrances.
- Ability to observe guest's hair, including close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
