Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional guest service and quality consultations
- Perform haircuts, color, highlights, waxing, and specialty services
- Complete transactions on a computerized register
- Perform close-out procedures
- Maintain salon cleanliness through light housekeeping duties
Requirements
- Current cosmetology or barber license as required by state/provincial regulations
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to stand for sustained periods
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and 25 pounds occasionally
- Ability to perform continuous repetitive movements with fingers, hands, wrists, and arms
- Ability to perform continuous grasping and reaching, including above shoulder level
- Ability to work with various chemicals and fragrances
- Ability to observe hair using close, color, and focus vision
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests regarding their needs
