About the Role
Yonkers Contracting Company has an immediate opportunity for an experienced IT Manager to lead and oversee the company’s information technology infrastructure and operations. This role requires a seasoned professional with strong technical expertise, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to supporting a fast‑paced corporate environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a small internal IT team, including help desk staff and technical support
- Oversee the management, configuration, and optimization of company networks, systems, and security tools, including Meraki, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Azure infrastructure
- Implement and manage security tools, protocols, and best practices
- Oversee help desk operations and ensure timely, efficient support for all end‑users
- Manage technology vendors, service providers, SaaS platforms, and equipment suppliers
- Coordinate, collaborate, and execute strategic technical initiatives
- Oversee technology onboarding and offboarding processes, including account provisioning, equipment deployment, and security‑compliant deactivation
- Maintain documentation of systems, procedures, licenses, configurations, and disaster recovery processes
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand technology needs and identify opportunities for improvements in efficiency and security
Requirements
- 15–20 years of progressive IT experience in a corporate or similarly structured organization
- Proven ability to collaborate and function effectively as part of a team
