About the Role
Seeking a senior mechanical or chemical engineer to collaborate with a multi-discipline team on diverse design projects.
Responsibilities
- Design mechanical and process systems, including facility upgrades, tool installations, HVAC, process piping, and hydronic systems.
- Coordinate with mechanical/process and other discipline design team members.
- Participate in and present design strategies during client review meetings.
- Prepare P&ID drawings, construction specifications, sequence of operations, testing documents, and engineering reports.
- Provide construction services, including field verification, site observations, RFI responses, and submittal reviews.
Requirements
- Professional engineering stamp.
- At least 5+ years of experience with an architectural/engineering (A/E) consulting firm.
- Experience with advanced technology and industrial clients is preferred.
- Understanding of basic building code requirements.
- Good communicator and team player.
- Good technical writing ability.
- Highly organized.
- Must show ownership and follow-through on assigned projects.
- Interest in professional growth.
- Ability to learn quickly and grasp new concepts.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit is a plus.
- EIT and ability to obtain PE license in 1-2 years required.
- Must complete Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification at start of employment.
- Temporary work authorization or need for sponsorship may disqualify applicant.
