About the Role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer responsible for the design and coordination of HVAC and mechanical building systems. This role involves collaborating with architects, engineers, and project teams to deliver high-quality designs for commercial, institutional, and industrial projects.

Responsibilities

  • Design HVAC systems including air distribution, chilled water, heating water, and ventilation systems.
  • Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents using Revit and/or AutoCAD.
  • Perform load calculations, energy modeling, and system sizing to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Coordinate mechanical designs with electrical, structural, and architectural teams.
  • Support field inspections, commissioning, and respond to RFIs during construction.
  • Ensure all designs meet applicable building codes, ASHRAE standards, and project requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC and building mechanical system design.
  • Proficiency with Revit and/or AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of ASHRAE standards, IBC, IMC, and related codes.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
