Responsibilities
- Design and develop HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial, institutional, or industrial buildings, ensuring optimal functionality and compliance with building codes and standards.
- Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for creating and managing detailed building system layouts, schematics, and construction documents.
- Collaborate closely with architects, other engineers, and project teams to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into building designs.
- Perform load calculations, energy modeling, and system performance analyses to optimize system efficiency and sustainability.
- Conduct site visits as needed to oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC and plumbing systems, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting issues and implementing corrective actions for building mechanical systems.
Requirements
- Familiarity with local, state, and national building codes related to HVAC and plumbing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and an aptitude for quality control.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across project teams.

Education Level
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (preferred).
- PE (Professional Engineer) or EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification is a plus.
