About the Role
Join a profitable crypto-fintech neobank as a Motion Designer/Animator. You will create engaging animations for marketing and product teams, design UI micro-animations, and own 3D motion projects. Contribute to a motion design system and stay ahead of industry trends.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary motion design partner for Marketing and Product teams, creating engaging animations for social media, marketing videos, logo animations, and outro animations.
- Design and implement seamless, high-quality micro-animations for the mobile app to elevate user experience and interface interactions.
- Take ownership of 3D motion projects, including opening Cinema 4D, importing/building 3D objects, and creating polished 3D animations.
- Develop and maintain a library of motion guidelines, templates, and assets to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
- Collaborate with product, visual design, and marketing teams to align motion graphics and video content with brand and project goals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends in motion graphics, 3D animation, and video editing, incorporating modern techniques.
Requirements
- Strong visual sensibility with a deep understanding of composition, typography, color theory, and layout.
- Strong, proven proficiency in Cinema 4D and animating 3D objects and environments.
- Mastery of Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, and Premiere Pro.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for file preparation.
- High proficiency and fluency in current AI trends and generation tools, particularly AI video and motion tools (e.g., Runway, Midjourney).
- A stunning motion reel showcasing high-quality work, specifically highlighting 3D capabilities (Cinema 4D), UI micro-animations, logo animations, and dynamic video content.
- Excellent eye for detail, timing, easing, and rhythm.
- Knowledge of no-code tools such as Framer or Webflow.
- Experience working in Fintech, Crypto, or Web3 startups.
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and handing off animations to developers (e.g., Lottie).
