About the Role
We are seeking a Tow Truck Driver to join our team! You will respond to calls from stranded motorists, providing emergency roadside assistance, accident recovery, and recovering abandoned vehicles. Responsibilities include maintaining excellent documentation, providing basic invoicing, and accepting payments in the field.
Responsibilities
- Respond to roadside emergencies within a designated area
- Professionally and accurately assist the client by doing minor repairs, or recovering the vehicle and bringing it to a designated location
- Maintain the tow truck and all of your equipment to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain excellent records of calls responded to
- Write and present invoices to clients in the field and accept payment as needed
Requirements
- Must hold the proper license to operate a tow truck in the state
- Has a clean driving record and can exhibit safe driving skills
- Experience with basic roadside assistance, such as changing a tire
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
