About the Role
Heidi is seeking a dedicated technical leader to own the post-sales delivery of signed contracts through to live, stable deployments. This role involves building the team, methodology, governance, metrics, and cross-functional interfaces required to make implementation a competitive advantage. The position reports into the Head of Program Management.
Responsibilities
- Own the full technical deployment lifecycle: scope confirmation, environment readiness, configuration, integration, cutover, go-live and stabilisation through to handover to CS
- Build the implementation methodology from the ground up, including stage gates, readiness criteria, templates, risk controls, and executive reporting
- Run a central portfolio across all technical components of enterprise deployments, including staffing, sequencing, capacity planning, and trade-offs
- Build and lead the implementation team, including implementation managers and engineering capacity across regions
- Own the technical readiness process, ensuring early confirmation of SSO, integration, and environment requirements
- Define the interface with Product and Engineering for structured, evidence-based escalations
- Set key metrics such as time to technical onboarding, go-live milestone attainment, and activated clinicians
- Recruit, develop, and performance-manage a high-agency implementation team across regions
Requirements
- Significant experience building or leading enterprise implementation in healthcare software (health systems, EHR-integrated products, clinical AI, or complex clinical workflow platforms)
- Experience running multi-site deployments involving clinicians, IT, security, procurement, legal, and executive sponsors
- Experience managing implementation leaders and technical implementation resources
- Fluency with enterprise health IT, including SSO and identity management, EHR integration patterns, and clinical governance/sign-off processes
- Executive credibility with CIOs, CMIOs, and health system operational leaders
- Judgment on the scope boundary between deployment, configuration, and product issues
- Comfort building process while simultaneously delivering
- Proven ability to turn chaotic enterprise deployments into repeatable systems
- Interest in navigating health system IT politics
- Ability to run executive steering committees and technical dependency reviews
- A preference for building the machine over running an existing one
- A desire to make health systems easier to work in
