About the Role
As a Data & AI Consultant, you will ensure data models, data architectures, and AI-driven solutions are qualitatively robust and sustainably usable, focusing on data quality. You will leverage your communication skills and technical expertise to create added value for clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire process from requirements analysis to the rollout of customized data models and data strategies in client projects.
- Develop and design high-quality data models and data quality-oriented data architectures across the entire data value chain, including cloud platforms, data pipelines, BI reports, and ML models.
- Define, implement, and monitor data quality rules, metrics, and governance, validation, and control mechanisms.
- Advise clients at the interface between business and IT on the sustainable improvement of data quality and the use of AI concerning quality and traceability.
- Lead and moderate workshops on data quality, artificial intelligence, and automation, flexibly switching between client interaction and technical implementation.
- Automate data and quality processes and continuously develop professionally and technologically.
Requirements
- Completed degree (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable) and several years of project experience in data modeling and data architectures, ideally with a focus on data quality in the AI context.
- Very good knowledge of database technologies and the Microsoft environment.
- Experience with platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or Azure Synapse.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Experience in developing data pipelines, ETL processes, and ideally with tools like dbt or orchestration solutions.
- Practical experience in cloud environments and in the automation of data and quality processes.
- Strong communication skills, moderation competence, and analytical and structured thinking.
- Confident in consulting.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Technologically open and eager to learn.
- Very good German and English skills (minimum C1).
