Responsibilities
- Own the detailed resourcing process end-to-end, from intake of a new project through to staffing recommendation, decision, and handover to the project lead, balancing project needs, individual development, and the long-term success of Isaac.
- Build trusted relationships across our entire consulting team, acting as the go-to advisor on resourcing decisions and a sounding board for staffing questions.
- Anticipate upcoming demand by partnering with project and client leads, highlighting trade-offs, and shaping resourcing decisions early.
- Respond to changing project needs by re-prioritizing and re-staffing in real time as projects evolve.
- Maintain a clear, current view of who's working on what, who's available, and where capability gaps are emerging across the team.
- Develop and maintain capacity models, utilization reporting, and forecasts that translate the project pipeline into a concrete staffing plan.
- Translate vague asks into concrete next steps, named owners, and agreed dates, ensuring clarity on decisions and responsibilities.
Requirements
- Strong facilitator who can read a room, frame choices, and bring structure to ambiguity.
- Mentally agile with the ability to keep multiple projects, people, deadlines, and competing priorities in mind simultaneously.
- Skilled negotiator who can hold the line on what matters and find creative middle ground.
- Structured and visual thinker who breaks down complex situations into visuals, models, and frameworks.
- Relationship builder who can build trusted relationships across all levels and adapt communication style.
