About the Role

Maintain day-to-day cleanliness in the Health and Wellness Center, Early Learning Center, and various spaces of the Fulton County YMCA. The current shift to be filled is from 8:00am - 1:00pm, Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

• Empty trash and refill liners.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, showers, sauna and steam room.
• Clean and maintain the Wellness Floor, Gymnasium, Community room, Pool shower, pool deck, lifeguard room and other spaces as needed.
• Restock supplies in bathrooms, showers, and Wellness Floor.
• Clean inside and outside windows and mirrors.
• Maintain and inventory all supplies.
• Ensure proper labeling and dilution of all chemicals.
• Always wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (gloves, etc.).
• Perform other routine maintenance duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent strongly preferred.
• 1-2 years of related experience preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience with wood and tile floor maintenance (i.e. wax, shine, strip).
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products.
• Exceptional customer relations focused attitude.
• Strong focus on critical problem solving.
• Willingness to work in a team-centric environment.
• Ability to sit, stand or reach for extended periods of times.
• Ability to move around the work environment independently.
• Ability to push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds for short periods of time.
• Willingness to work in environments with noise and fluctuating temperatures.
