About the Role
You'll be part of a lean, high-ownership duo building ClipBox, a new standalone web platform inside Medal. You will own projects end-to-end, from idea and UX details to system design, implementation, and launch. This includes scaling real-time video tracking and analytics, building secure payments and payout workflows, and shipping integrations with social APIs. You will move quickly, iterate with AI coding tools, help make pragmatic stack choices, and have meaningful product and design autonomy.
Responsibilities
- Own projects end-to-end, from idea and UX details to system design, implementation, and launch
- Scale real-time video tracking and analytics across hundreds of thousands of videos
- Build secure payments and payout workflows
- Ship integrations with social APIs like TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram
- Develop a Discord bot as part of the ecosystem
- Move quickly and iterate with AI coding tools
- Make pragmatic stack choices
- Have meaningful product and design autonomy
Requirements
- 5+ years of fullstack engineering experience
- Experience with React, Redux, and Node.js
- Ownership and attention to detail; ability to see things through and be responsible for end-to-end quality of complex features
- Excellent understanding of code performance implications in production and confidence with profiling tools
- Be result-driven; focus on metrics and performance of features
- Experience building and shipping own products from 0 to 1 (Bonus)
- Java, C#, and C++ experience (Bonus)
- Passion for the creator economy, short-form content marketing, and the games industry (Bonus)
