About the Role
As a Climbing Arborist, you will be an integral member of a tree care team with the primary responsibility of climbing trees and assisting Arborist Crew Leaders in performing all tree and shrub care services on residential and commercial properties.
Responsibilities
- Perform ground duties, climbing, and aerial rigging in support of specific work assignments as directed by the Arborist Crew Leader.
- Safely perform all aspects of arboriculture, including tree identification, tree risk assessment, pruning, moving, cabling and bracing, and root collar excavations.
- Properly maintain and operate tools and equipment, including hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.
- Learn, understand, and adhere to all safety regulations and company safety policies.
Requirements
- Passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors.
- At least one (1) year of experience in tree climbing (DdRT or SRT) and aerial lift operation within the tree care industry.
- Valid driver's license (Class B CDL preferred).
- Ability to work outdoors year-round in any weather condition.
