About the Role

The Night Manager is responsible for ensuring resident safety and security, and effectively managing and escalating incidents during night shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct nightly audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial transactions.
  • Manage night shift operations, including guest check-ins and check-outs.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests.
  • Ensure smooth operations during the night.
  • Verify the accuracy of guest accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare detailed reports for management.
  • Ensure the security and safety of the premises during the night.
  • Monitor CCTV systems.
  • Promptly address any security concerns or emergencies.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as updating reservations and processing payments.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments for seamless communication.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests.
  • Address guest needs and resolve issues or complaints professionally and timely.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a customer service/operations role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities without compromising accuracy and customer service.
  • Computer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and database management systems.
  • Leadership and supervisory experience and skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, including conflict resolution.
  • Willingness to undertake a National Police Check.
  • Willingness to undertake a Working with Children check.
