About the Role
Max Distributing is seeking a Retail Merchandiser to support convenience store accounts in the Austin area. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy staying active, working independently, and managing their own schedule, offering a career with long-term growth potential.
Responsibilities
- Visit convenience store accounts throughout your assigned territory
- Merchandise and stock products to maximize product visibility and sales
- Build attractive displays and maintain shelf organization
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders when needed
- Complete invoicing, reporting, and route documentation
- Develop positive relationships with store managers and employees
- Manage your route efficiently while working independently
- Represent Max Distributing professionally in every account
Requirements
- Retail, merchandising, customer service, delivery, hospitality, sales, route, or account management experience preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Reliable and self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Organized with strong time-management abilities
- Comfortable using mobile apps and basic technology
- Ability to lift, stock, and merchandise products throughout the day
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Must be able to travel overnight at least two nights per week with expenses paid by Max Distributing
