About the Role
Strathfield's Graduate Program is a structured pathway designed to support your transition from graduate to a confident, skilled practitioner, delivered over two distinct stages: exploring potential through clinical rotations and focusing expertise in a chosen specialty with dedicated mentoring.
Responsibilities
- Gain diverse experience through rotations in Medical, Surgical, Perioperative, Cardiothoracic, Critical Care, CAU, and DOSA settings in Year 1.
- Tailor development in Year 2 to a chosen specialty, receiving dedicated mentoring and support.
- Build confidence and clinical skills in a supportive and development-focused environment.
- Nurture future talent and offer graduates a range of career pathways, including direct entry training programs across Perioperative, Cardiothoracic, Critical Care and ICU specialties.
- Receive guidance and opportunities from dedicated Educators and experienced CNS/CNCs throughout the graduate journey.
Requirements
- Have completed or are on track to complete your Diploma in Nursing.
- Eligible for AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse by February 2027.
- Hold valid Australian work rights.
- Will be required to complete a Working With Children Check.
- Must meet Ramsay’s immunisation requirements.
