About the Role
Turner & Townsend is seeking a Project Manager to act as the day-to-day interface with a high-profile commercial real estate client, responsible for managing projects of multiple sizes and scales from inception through turnover.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and management of the project's strategic plans and program initiatives.
- Support the design, engineering, and construction teams through all project phases.
- Initiate and manage the procurement of design, construction, and consultant services.
- Serve as liaison between the client and design/construction professionals.
- Oversee and review the development of architectural and engineering construction drawings and bid documents.
- Lead value engineering sessions to reduce costs.
- Develop, monitor, and update the master project budget and schedule.
- Provide analysis of budgets and schedules and their effect on project financial objectives.
- Assist the client in scheduling, coordination, and management of Owner-direct vendors and consultants.
- Meet with clients, city officials, architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants to present project status and anticipate issues.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of project controls, project management, construction documentation, and sequencing.
- Lead all aspects of the project, including budget, schedule, operational needs, procedures, client standards, QA/QC program requirements, and individual roles.
- Attend owner, architect, and contractor meetings, taking notes and managing follow-up action items.
- Establish and oversee project close-out documentation and processes.
- Negotiate, resolve, and close out outstanding change orders, quality issues, or disputes.
- Process and track final invoices, payment applications, and retention payments.
- Prepare and submit final project accounting and budget.
Requirements
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Proven track record in leading and delivering high-quality programs/projects.
- Exceptionally strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with all team members.
- Ability to present to senior management to gain approvals.
- Passionate about solving complex challenges within aggressive timelines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software platforms.
- AutoCAD proficiency is mandatory.
- Furniture installation experience is required.

Salary/Compensations
