About the Role
Verse is seeking a full stack engineer to develop product experiences for Dispatch Intelligence users, focusing on battery energy storage systems for cost savings and faster interconnection. You will design, build, and maintain frontend and backend components of our energy storage applications.
Responsibilities
- Foster a culture of well-designed systems, test-driven software, and proactive communication.
- Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, and engineers to develop user-friendly software experiences.
- Design, build, test, debug, maintain, and scale user-facing software and related components.
- Integrate frontend components with backend APIs and render interactive data visualizations.
- Implement backend APIs, middleware, and integrate these layers with databases.
- Manage user authentication, authorization, sessions, and tokens.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability using content delivery networks.
- Evaluate and recommend new software tools, systems, and architectures.
Requirements
- Customer empathy and obsession with crafting quality user experiences.
- Hands-on experience in both frontend (e.g., Typescript, React) and backend (e.g., Go, Python) software ecosystems.
- Ability to translate complex product requirements into functional software.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality software on time while adhering to best development practices.
- Continuous learning of contemporary technologies, tools, libraries, services, frameworks, or breakthroughs.
- Discipline in using generative AI tools in daily work.
