About the Role
As a (Senior) Consultant in Digital Transformation, you will support clients in strategically integrating digital innovations into their business models. This involves analyzing the strategic fit of digital innovations with company goals, aligning processes and IT systems, mapping system solutions in production and logistics, and optimizing production through digital innovations.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate how digital technologies contribute to overarching company goals and develop actionable recommendations.
- Ensure close alignment between business processes and IT systems for consistent and sustainable digital transformation.
- Analyze existing production and logistics processes and map suitable IT systems to digitally improve planning, control, and execution.
- Identify digitalization potentials in production and logistics and support the implementation of innovative solutions to increase efficiency and quality.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the industrial or consulting sector, ideally with a focus on digitalization, production planning, or process optimization.
- Proficiency in methods and systems for planning and controlling production processes.
- Solid knowledge of manufacturing and assembly, with a good understanding of shopfloor IT systems.
- Understanding of ERP, MES, WMS, CRM, and PLM systems, as well as modern technologies like AI and their industrial applications.
- High affinity for digital working methods and AI-supported tools.
- Utilize data-based approaches to make processes more efficient and create added value.
- Fluent communication in German and very good communication in English, both spoken and written.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally for on-site client collaboration.
