About the Role
The Client Web Shell team owns the foundation of TeamViewer's web application, responsible for its overall features, frontend architecture, build system, and performance. This role involves shaping a large-scale React application, from module federation and build tooling to AI-powered experiences embedded at the core of the product, bridging product-facing UI work and deep frontend platform engineering.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable .NET services and React frontends across Web Shell, Agentic Ecosystem, and Endpoint Observability domains.
- Build event, telemetry, and audit pipelines covering ingestion, correlation, retention, export, and access control at enterprise scale.
- Expose platform capabilities safely to Tia and third-party agents through MCP tools, typed APIs, and tenancy-aware authorization.
- Deliver production features in a microservices codebase using AI coding agents, contract tests, schema validation, and integration coverage.
- Debug distributed, partly model-driven systems and build the tracing needed to understand non-deterministic behavior.
- Maintain service-layer context for agents, including API contracts, domain vocabulary, architectural decision records, and repository instructions.
- Own performance, scalability, reliability, and AI-assisted cost profiles for the services shipped.
- Partner with product management and EMEA anchor teams to refine requirements and shape architectural decisions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of production software engineering experience, with strong C#/.NET expertise, solid React skills, and a strong foundation in software engineering principles.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems, including microservices, messaging, consistency trade-offs, and diagnosing failures in high-load environments.
- Experience working with SQL databases, non-relational data stores, cloud platforms, containerized deployments, and event-driven or streaming architectures at scale.
- Regular use of AI coding agents within production codebases, coupled with accountability for the correctness, security, and maintainability of delivered software.
- Proven ability to expose capabilities to AI systems through tool and function interfaces, structured APIs, MCP servers, or similar model-facing integration patterns.
- Strong understanding of common AI model failure modes, including hallucinations, context degradation, prompt injection, non-determinism, and silent regressions, along with effective mitigation strategies.
- Critical evaluation of generated code at scale, with the ability to identify and reject plausible but unsafe outputs while leveraging tests, evaluations, and architectural context to ensure reliability.
- Excellent English communication skills, a collaborative mindset for working with teams across EMEA, and a strong interest in shaping AI-native engineering practices.
