About the Role
Morrison Mahoney LLP is seeking an experienced Automobile / Premises Liability Defense Attorney to manage cases from inception through resolution, including depositions, dispositive motions, and ADR. This role offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement within a collaborative and inclusive environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage cases from inception through resolution
- Take and defend depositions
- Prepare and file dispositive motions
- Handle arbitrations and mediations
- Prepare comprehensive status reports for insurers
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
- Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials
- Ensure compliance with court deadlines and scheduling requirements
- Work closely with clients, experts, and fellow attorneys to develop and execute litigation strategies
- Provide regular updates and comprehensive written status reports to clients
- Conduct in-depth legal research
- Prepare strategic memoranda
- Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys for seamless case management
Requirements
- Ability to manage cases from inception through resolution
- Ability to draft and argue dispositive motions
- Ability to perform legal research
- Ability to respond to discovery requests
- Ability to prepare comprehensive written status reports for insurers
- Previous experience taking and defending fact witness and expert depositions independently
- Prior ADR experience handling arbitrations and mediations
