About the Role
As a Project Engineer Intern, you will assist the project team in the completion of designated projects while focusing on learning construction industry processes, procedures, and Ryan business policies.
Responsibilities
- Gain a working understanding of budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders.
- Develop a first-hand understanding of job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control and safety.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering/management or closely related field and within 18 months of graduating.
- Able to work 40 hours a week for at least a three-month term.
- Verification of employment to work in the U.S. is required.
Skills
- General knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control methods.
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
- Ability to read and understand contracts, specifications and architectural and engineering drawings.
- Communicate clearly orally and in writing.
