About the Role

As the VP, People Business Partners & Talent Development, you will ensure our human and high-performing culture is embedded throughout the employee experience, operationalizing and strengthening it. You will oversee the People Business Partner (PBP) and Learning & Development (L&D) teams, acting as the architect of our talent density strategy. You will ensure departments have the strategic talent partnership needed to scale and employees have a world-class learning ecosystem. You will report directly to the Chief People Officer and serve as a key advisor to the executive leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the People Business Partner (PBP) team and the Learning & Development (L&D) team.
  • Ensure every department has the strategic talent partnership it needs to scale.
  • Ensure every employee has the world-class learning ecosystem required to do the best work of their lives.
  • Unify the PBP and L&D functions to solve performance gaps with targeted learning interventions.
  • Lead the strategy for identifying, developing, and transitioning top leadership talent.
  • Oversee the transition to an AI-augmented learning environment, personalizing growth paths.
  • Refine the performance management philosophy towards continuous feedback and transparent career mobility.
  • Ensure the people strategy remains cohesive across different time zones, cultures, and legal jurisdictions during global expansion.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of People Leadership experience, with a deep background in both Business Partner and Learning/Talent Development.
  • Understanding of SaaS business metrics (ARR, Churn, LTV) and their relation to talent strategy.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale organizational shifts, including M&A integrations or major department re-orgs.
  • Ability to influence, challenge, and support a high-velocity executive team.
  • Experience building internal people programs with the rigor and iteration of a customer-facing software product.
  • Bias for action and fostering high-performing teams.
  • This role is a backfill for an existing position.
