About the Role
One Medical is transforming healthcare by making quality care more affordable, accessible, and enjoyable. We are seeking a dedicated primary care provider to join our mission-driven team and contribute to a seamless healthcare experience for patients, providers, and employers.
Responsibilities
- Manage a patient panel with diverse needs, conducting acute, chronic, and well visits.
- Provide patient care in-office, testing centers, and through occasional telehealth visits.
- Engage in continuous learning through weekly Clinical Rounds and other modalities.
- Collaborate with in-office and virtual clinical teams.
- Utilize specific clinical training and perform in-office procedures.
- Supervise one or more NP or PA colleagues.
- Obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for virtual primary care in additional states.
Requirements
- Enrolled in or completed an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program.
- Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting.
- Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain certification within 1 year.
- State licensed in California, obtained before the start date.
- Passion for human-centered primary care.
- Ability to communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds.
- Ability to effectively use technology to deliver high-quality care.
- Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care.
- Desire to be an integral part of a team dedicated to changing healthcare delivery.
- Openness to feedback and reflection.
- Ability to confidently navigate uncertain situations.
- Readiness to adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet patient needs.
