About the Role
The Integrated Reporting Solutions team is transforming how organizations manage retirement and benefit administration. This role will own the product strategy and roadmap for our reporting ecosystem, working with engineering teams, solution architects, business leaders, and enterprise clients to evolve tooling, data models, and user experiences. The ideal candidate will combine technical depth (SQL, data literacy, Agile) with strong stakeholder influence to help clients unlock self-service reporting for faster, smarter decisions.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the product roadmap for Integrated Reporting Solutions, balancing long-term vision with near-term delivery.
- Make clear, defensible decisions about product direction and communicate trade-offs transparently.
- Steward the team's reporting tooling suite (Logi Analytics, SSRS, Crystal Reports) and oversee the Datamart and Business Object Model.
- Drive improvements in data quality, performance bottlenecks, and user friction with the engineering team.
- Engage with key clients and business partners to gather requirements, conduct discovery, and translate needs into product features.
- Support internal teams and clients on reporting capabilities, troubleshooting issues and maximizing adoption.
- Work closely with product owners, developers, and solution architects to strengthen product thinking and delivery practices.
- Deliver training to internal teams and clients on self-service reporting.
- Lead day-to-day product execution, shaping sprints, refining the backlog, and removing ambiguity.
- Define KPIs, track success metrics, and use data and client feedback for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 5+ years in product management, business analysis, data analytics, or a closely related technical role.
- Practical SQL skills: ability to read, interpret, and write SQL queries.
- Understanding of data structures and reporting: familiarity with data models, normalized data, and data organization for reporting and analytics.
- Experience with centralized reporting data: exposure to data warehouses, semantic layers, business object models, or similar structures.
- Hands-on experience with reporting tools or BI platforms (Logi, SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, Crystal Reports—or similar).
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills: ability to conduct discovery sessions, ask the right questions, and translate business needs into product requirements.
- Agile/Scrum experience: comfortable with backlog refinement, sprint planning, acceptance criteria, release readiness, and iterative delivery.
- Natural systems thinker, analytical approach, data-driven decisions, and cross-team collaboration.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and bring structure to complexity; self-starter.
- Strong coaching and communication skills; ability to explain complex data concepts clearly.
- Background in data engineering, data analysis, or BI development is a plus.
- Experience as a Software Product Owner (SPO) or Business Analyst in a reporting or data context is a plus.
- Software development or coding experience is an edge.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms, data governance, or data quality practices is a plus.
