About the Role

We are seeking a high-performing Tax Technology professional with a strong foundation in tax and a proven track record of delivering technology-enabled solutions in complex, client-facing environments. This role sits at the intersection of tax advisory and digital transformation, supporting clients in modernizing and automating their tax functions. You will work closely with tax and finance stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable, technology-driven solutions using the Microsoft ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement end-to-end tax technology solutions across tax data management, provision and compliance processes, operational transfer pricing, indirect tax, and Pillar Two/global minimum tax.
  • Build robust data pipelines, automate workflows, and embed controls, validations, and audit trails to meet regulatory and governance requirements.
  • Collaborate with tax and finance teams to translate business needs into scalable technology solutions.
  • Utilize Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Lakehouse, Power BI) and Microsoft SQL Server for enterprise-grade data modeling and analytics.
  • Manage tax data structures including trial balance, chart of accounts mapping, and legal entity hierarchies.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and contribute to broader tax transformation initiatives.
  • Apply Microsoft Excel (Power Query, VBA) and SharePoint for workflow and document management.
  • Utilize .NET/C# for advanced customizations and apply cloud architecture, data governance, and security best practices within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Employ Python skills where applicable to enhance automation and analytics.

Requirements

  • Strong foundation in tax with hands-on experience in tax advisory or tax function environments (corporate tax, provision, transfer pricing, or indirect tax).
  • Proven ability to bridge the gap between tax and technology, delivering innovative and practical solutions.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Power Platform, Azure services, and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Solid understanding of tax data structures and ERP systems.
  • Consulting mindset with excellent stakeholder engagement and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and .NET/C#.
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture, data governance, and security principles.
  • Prior experience working in a tax advisory or tax function environment.
  • Strong ability to manage complex, client-facing projects.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
  • Experience with Python.
  • A collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
  • A proactive problem solver with a passion for technology and tax transformation.
