About the Role

You will bring your deep consulting expertise and experience gained over several years in complex projects, taking on a central role as a strategic sparring partner for our clients. You will use your expert knowledge to structure demanding questions, develop options, and prepare decisions. You will guide senior stakeholders through politically sensitive situations, provide orientation and alignment, and support decision-making processes to completion. You will develop executive-level storylines, present to management, and set the standard for clarity, quality, and professionalism in critical moments. You will proactively identify risks and dependencies in projects and initiate appropriate measures before they escalate. You will shape the expansion of client relationships, identify growth and added value potential, and establish new, robust networks at the management level, developing them long-term. You will influence the team beyond the project through knowledge transfer, thought leadership, and the development of reusable methods, frameworks, and best practices.

Responsibilities

Requirements

Several years of experience in management consulting, industry, or a comparable role (approx. 8-10 years), with successful involvement in complex transformation, strategy, or technology projects.
Subject matter expertise in a specific field (e.g., IT strategy, payments, Data & AI, operating model, organizational development, or IT architecture), applied to demanding project contexts.
Ability to quickly grasp complex contexts, bring structure to ambiguity, and derive clear courses of action.
Proficiency in interacting with senior stakeholders, mastering storytelling, executive communication, and tailoring complex content for different audiences in presentations, workshops, or management meetings.
Independent, structured, and quality-conscious work style, integrating expertise into multidisciplinary teams.
Clear and audience-appropriate communication, even in politically sensitive or conflict-ridden situations, in German and English.
Willingness to travel.
A very well-completed university degree (Business, MINT/STEM, or comparable).
