About the Role

Senior Helpers of East Brooklyn is seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide home care services to seniors and their families.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing and dressing.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Plan and prepare meals for clients.
• Provide companionship through conversation.
• Engage in client hobbies to support emotional well-being.
• Remind clients to take medications as prescribed.
• Report completed activities and provide updates on client's physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior.

Requirements

• Possess a valid New York State PCA Certification.
• Hold a valid driver's license, registration, and insurance for a reliable personal vehicle.
• Have experience in senior care within community, facility, or home care settings.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Meet required immunization standards.
