Responsibilities
- Learn and participate in all aspects of the fire sprinkler trade.
- Drive and deliver material to job sites.
- Pick up material from warehouses and deliver to the shop or job site.
- Check in material, maintain pick tickets, and submit to administration.
- Perform flow tests for design.
- Deliver equipment to job sites.
- Assist teammates as directed by Project Managers or Superintendents.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements

- Prioritize safety by ensuring timely submittal of JSAs, Toolbox Talks, and Audit Forms.
- Ensure timely and accurate incident and accident reporting.
- Be accountable for all safety initiatives.
- Be accountable for safe driving of company vehicles.
- Ensure awareness and support of Stop Work Authority.
- Complete all training requirements, including safety and certifications.
- Submit accurate timesheets on time, including job numbers/names, overtime, and travel pay.
- Ensure all required documents are complete, accurate, professional, and signed.
- Manage inventory by reviewing, updating, and approving packing slips.
- Maintain and care for equipment, including trucks, lifts, and tools.
- Keep job sites clean and organized.
- Ensure production efficiency by monitoring budget vs. actual labor hours and communicating with the superintendent.
- Support and ensure adherence to company SOPs, including Purchase Orders and Change Orders.
- Be punctual for work, maintain good attendance, communicate with supervisors, and manage paperwork.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and respond to feedback for improvement.
- Maintain a professional appearance.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.
- Maintain positive interactions within the team and with the local office.
- Actively participate in required team meetings.
- Ability to work overtime, out of town, or on-call as needed.
Skills
- Basic Math and Reading
- Understand and follow basic Safety procedures
- Helper or construction experience is a plus
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Warehouse role experience, organizing parts and materials
- 1 year of driving experience
- CDL is not required but a plus
- Good communication skills
- Sense of pride, integrity, and organizational ability
- Enjoy working independently and outdoors
