About the Role

Working as part of a permanent team, we have an opportunity for a professional and knowledgeable scrub nurse to join us; to provide exceptional care for our patients. We will enable you to develop your skills and grow your career, supporting our three-theatre hospital, working with our hand-picked “best in class” plastic surgeons and a committed team of professionals who love delighting our patients with high standards of care and excellent results.

Responsibilities

• Building excellent relationships with consultants and patients is an important part of the role.
• Supporting the theatres team and promoting best practice in all areas of regulatory compliance.
• Supporting a wide range of procedures including rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, facelift, labiaplasty, blepharoplasty, liposuction, and fat transfer.
• Ensuring safe and effective theatre preparation, surgical assistance, and patient safety.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with valid NMC pin
• At least 1 year’s experience in a Scrub Nurse role in the UK
• 6+ months’ experience on a PACU ward
• Passion for delivering excellent patient care
• Strong communication and teamworking skills
• Positive, flexible, and proactive approach
• Basic understanding of patient care in day-case surgery
• Experience in cosmetic or plastic surgery (Desirable)
• Willingness to cross-specialise in Recovery and Scrub (Desirable)
• Previous experience supporting multi-disciplinary theatre teams (Desirable)

Salary/Compensations

• £36,000–£38,000 DOE + shift enhancements & benefits (OTE up to £45,000)
