About the Role
The Cadogan Clinic is seeking a dedicated Recovery and Post-Operative Staff Nurse to join their team, focusing on delivering outstanding care to patients throughout their recovery journey. This role is crucial in supporting safe recovery immediately after surgery, monitoring post-operative needs, and delivering expert wound care.
Responsibilities
- Supporting safe recovery immediately after surgery
- Monitoring and managing post-operative needs
- Delivering expert wound care in clinic
- Working closely with consultants, anaesthetists, and surgical teams to ensure continuity of care
- Ensuring smooth day-case surgery pathways
- Achieving best-in-class outcomes
- Participating in on-call duties
Requirements
- NMC-registered Nurse with eligibility to practise in the UK
- 1+ year of experience in a pre-/post-operative surgical ward
- 1+ year of experience working in a Recovery or PACU setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent clinical judgement and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Experience in wound care and post-surgical dressings (desirable)
- Previous work in the private healthcare sector (desirable)
- Phlebotomy skills (desirable)
- IT literacy, including use of electronic clinical records (desirable)
- Ability to manage and prioritise a constantly evolving workload (desirable)

Salary/Compensations
- Up to £37,000 DOE
- £30/hr overtime
