About the Role
We are seeking an experienced professional for our central Berlin office to independently manage all accounting tasks, including administrative duties and contract oversight. Comprehensive onboarding into company specifics will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Financial accounting and subsidiary ledgers
- Payroll accounting (partially salary calculation)
- Year-end closing activities
- Invoice creation
- Reviewing incoming invoices and payment transactions
- Personnel administration, travel expenses, etc.
- General secretarial duties (holiday cover)
- Assisting management
- Communicating with employees, clients, and tax advisors
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in a commercial field
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in accounting
- Knowledge of balance sheet accounting is advantageous
- Quality-oriented and independent work style
- Proficient in Excel and other MS Office applications
- Accuracy and diligence, flexibility, teamwork
- Organizational talent with quick comprehension
- Very good German language skills (C1) and confident communication
- Knowledge of Datev and Lexware Lohn/Gehalt is desirable
