About the Role
Catskill Veterinary Services is seeking a full-time General Practice Veterinarian to join our growing team, specifically encouraging Class of 2026 and 2027 Graduates. This role offers a unique blend of primary care relationship building with immediate access to emergency and advanced care teams, providing a comprehensive learning and working environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage preventative care, dermatology, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and internal medicine.
- Build long-term relationships with clients.
- Focus on clinical excellence, realistic scheduling, and team well-being.
- Master dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and internal medicine workups.
- Educate pet owners on their pets' health.
Requirements
- DVM/VMD Degree (or upcoming graduation in 2026 or 2027).
- Current NYS License (or ability to obtain one).
- A desire to learn and grow.
- Team player mentality.
- Ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
