About the Role
Shift Leaders at our restaurant are hands-on leaders who set the tone for every shift, leading by example, working side-by-side with the team, and ensuring every guest has a great experience. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with people, and seek career growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead the shift and manage operations when management is not present.
- Perform all restaurant positions including cashier, grill, prep, and dining room duties.
- Provide fast, accurate service and ensure a positive guest experience.
- Coach, support, and motivate crew members.
- Assist in training new team members and fostering a positive culture.
- Maintain restaurant cleanliness, safety, and brand standards.
- Manage shift tasks such as breaks, cash handling, and closing reports.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience, with leadership experience preferred.
- Possess a team-first mindset and strong communication skills.
- Demonstrate leadership through action.
- Ability to remain calm and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems.
- Must be able to work on your feet, be active and engaged throughout the shift.
- Ability to work around hot equipment and in a busy kitchen setting.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle supplies as needed.
